Former MFA of Armenia, Vartan Oskanian, wrote the following on his Facebook page:
“Yesterday, I saw a huge contrast in our country. The government’s media reported the meeting of Tigran Sargyan, PM, and EU commissioner Stephan Fule, in a colored way, but when I met him, it was all different.
During the meeting Fule said that Armenia must not wait for a 1 billiard EURO donation from EU for upcoming presidential elections. As you know yesterday he met with some high officials and I think that he was kind of disappointed with the Armenia’s current situation, as well as for the future of our country. While meeting with me, he stressed that he has told both our president and PM that they shouldn’t hope to get the mentioned for the presidential election forum from donor countries. Secondly he stressed that Armenia mustn’t hope that the agreement between Armenia and EU concerning the development of our government, will be signed till 2013.
So our authorities will do everything in order to realize the reproduction, they can even put a cross to our country’s future,” wrote Oskanyan adding “The same thing happened soma times ago when US refused to realize the “Millennium Challenge” program for developing our country”.
