On September 17th the president of Azerbaijan will arrive in Paris. The already published agenda notes that the meeting of the presidents is planned. Questions will be discussed on mutual relations and on NKR conflict. “I suppose that it will be really difficult for Aliyev in Paris, because all the efforts made by France during a long period of time, are now endangered because of Azerbaijan.”-said political expert Hrant Meliq-Shahnazaryan during a meeting with journalists.
According to him, France won’t let the Azerbaijani-Turkish factor to rule in South Caucasus.
The political expert noted that the French side has already expressed its concern on the tension in the region. It’s important for France to get assurances of stability from Azerbaijan. “It’s a serious problem in France to shake a hand of a president glorifying a murderer. On this account French president faces serious moral problem.”
Speaking on Safarov’s extradition, the speaker noticed that if the flow of complaints is correctly directed and made a factor to create Armenian-favored positions in West, there will be changes in negotiation process.
