The Public Registry Agency of Georgia reported that from 2010-2012, Georgia has registered 132,449 business entities; 97.7 percent of them are commercial entities (individual entrepreneurs, joint liability communities, limited liability companies, joint stock companies, cooperatives, branches of foreign legal entities, etc.), 2.3 per cent – non-profit entities.
The source informs that over the past two years Georgia has registered 14,196 foreign business entities (from 105 countries), which is 10.7 percent of all registered entities in the country.
