Georgi Chanturia, the general director of Georgian Public Broadcasting, announced today that public broadcaster has started political debates for members of the parliamentary elections and added that following 4 parties; the United National Movement, Georgian Dream, the Christian Democratic Movement and the Labor Party; have the right to take part in the live debate in accordance with the electoral code.
As reported the candidates for prime minister from the above mentioned parties are invited to participate in the debates on September 9.
Debate rules are developed by experts of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems.
