According to the reliable information of “1in.am News and Analyses”, Aram Kocharyan, who was removed from the post of governor of Lori region last year, was not alone on vacation in Georgia before the resignation. He was accompanied by the Mayor of Vanadzor, the incumbent candidate for the post of mayor Samvel Darbinyan.
Note that Lori’s governor Aram Kocharyan resigned, when Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan found out that he didn’t go to St. Petersburg for a medical treatment, but simply went to neighboring Georgia for a vacation.
Factually the governor and the mayor lied to the Prime Minister and went on vacation. However, as we can see, the governor who went on vacation at the expense of work was dismissed, and Vanadzor Mayor continues to remain in his position. Furthermore, on September 9 the Republican Party again nominated Samvel Darbinyan for the elections of mayor of Vanadzor region and is going to support his candidacy.
