A letter of Vano Siradeghyan published in “Hraparak” newspaper, has become the subject of heated discussions during the last 2 days. Some people claim that the letter was fake, but those who know Vano Siradeghyan, including his former chief bodyguard Suren Sirunyan claim that the author of the letter was Vano Siradeghyan judging from the style of handwriting.
Vano Siradeghyan in his letter also addressed the petition of the initiative of “Elq” the purpose of which is to return him to homeland. “On the first drive I wrote the title; “Stop it”, but cut the paper in the morning, realizing that such a response is not only unfair towards my friends, but also a rude and ungrateful attitude towards even one person who signed under it. The event’s being humiliating is not of importance to me,” mentioned Vano Siradeghyan. He has stated that he will return to Armenia in one way or another, “but I hope that I will never see the political, social, moral destructions, which our country has been subjected to, during my absence.”
The head of “Elq” initiative group, journalist Vard Simonyan does not believe that the author of the letter is really Vano Siradeghyan. In response to “1in.am News and Analysis” question in this case who has interest in spreading rumors about the death of Vano Siradeghyan and publishing a false letter under his name, Vard Simonyan answered, “ Our movement staretd Vano Siradeghyan’s petition-initiative, and it as was expected goes on being a pretty intense drama. What can we do when the political leaders are in a fuss.If TVs stop stabbing them into our eyes, we may forget about them, but what we have is that even after 12 years we not only remember but also highly appreciate politician Vano Siradeghyan’s name and earnings and are ready to start such a fight for his return.
That is why we have thousands of nonsense’s; Vano’s death news spread, a letter with forged signature of Vano, and many other stupid questions which may fail the success of our petition.
All this is distortion of our serious question by their input satellites, which mainly pull down thoughts and ideas.”
She also added that before October-November months the number of people joining the petition will increase 3-4 times.
