The High Representative of the EU for foreign policy and security, Josep Borrell, responding to the Belgian member of the European Parliament, Assita Kanko, regarding the unblocking of the Lachine Corridor, said: “Sanctions (against Azerbaijan) are only one of the EU’s tools to promote standard foreign and security policy and are not considered in this case.
The EU’s efforts with Armenia and Azerbaijan are focused on reaching solutions through dialogue, and the leaders of both countries have expressed their commitment to this matter.”
