Russia, which directly borders the South Caucasus, is interested in the stability and prosperity of that region, mutually beneficial use and discovery of transport logistics, trade investment, and technological opportunities. This is exactly what our diplomatic efforts are aimed at.”
This is stated in the answers of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, to the questions of the mass media.
“One of the primary issues in this regard is the regulation of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. The basis is the statements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia on November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, November 26, and October 31, 2022. We are sure that the success of the process completely depends on clearly following these tripartite agreements,” the statement said.
