The president of the “People’s party” Tigran Karapetyan told the journalists that he has returned from his vacation and is now ready to start his political activities. Karapetyan noted that he is going to take part in the presidential elections. At the same time he added that in the presidential elections the winner will be the person, who will pay money for votes.
In response to this statement, the journalists asked Tigran karapetyan, why he wants to participate in the elections, if, as he said, only the person who will pay will be the president. Karapetyan answered that he is doing it for the 8000 people who had voted for him in the previous elections.
He also noted that Russia is against our current prime minister, Tigran Sargsyan, saying that Sargsyan is against the Eurasian Union; meanwhile Russia wants Armenia to become a member of EurAsEc.
“Putin told Serzh Sargsyan to consider changing our Prime Minister, and that process is currently in action” he said.
It the end, concerning the local government elections, Karapetyan said that there is no opposition in Armenia. He also added that doesn’t want Vano Siradeghyan to return as he wants to see only honest people back to the country.
