There are 145 countries in the chart of healthy countries organized by the Bloomberg agency. To identify the healthiest countries in the world, Bloomberg Rankings created health scores and health-risk scores for countries with populations of at least 1 million. For creating this chart the news agency has used the estimates of World Health organization, UNO and Universal bank.
According to the experts’ results the most important factors of population health are the length of life, the number of children deaths, causes of deaths and also the deaths of men and women in different age groups until the age of65.
The healthiest people live in Singapore, and then come Italy, Australia, Switzerland, and Japan. The UK is the 21st and the USA 33rd.
The factors influencing the health level of the country that were taken into consideration for creating the chart are percentage of smokers, alcohol users, low level of physical activity as well as the number those infected by AIDS, ecological situation and children illnesses.
The worst situation is in 5 African countries- Mozambique, Chad, Congo, Lesotho and Swaziland.
