Trend reports that German Secretary of State Thomas Ilka, along with a delegation from the Federal Ministry of Health recently visited Georgia to meet with the deputy minister at the Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Affairs of Georgia Irakli Nadareishvili.
According to the report the purpose of the meetings was to familiarize the group, with the health system in Georgia.
Note, Germany has already provided assistance to Georgia in the fight against tuberculosis with the training of medical staff, as well as humanitarian aid in the past.
