This year Armenians are keeping up with their bad habits. Even though we have a great number of people leaving abroad, according to the statistical data, Armenians have used alcohol (especially Vodka) and cigarettes this year than last year.
According to the National Statistical Service’s data, in the first half of the 2012 year, Armenians have consumed about 83 million 269.6 thousand packs of cigarettes, instead of 81 million 44.9 thousand packs, which was calculated according to the same period of last year.
Vodka consumption has also increased compared to the same period of the last year.
If last year only 5 million and 52.4 thousand liters of vodka was used, then this year the number has increased by 1 million 553.5 thousand liters, making the total of 6 million 605.9 thousand liters.
