The flow of Syrian-Armenians to Armenia has somewhat influenced the renting of real estate in Armenia. This was reported to “1in.am News and Analysis” by the deputy director of “Kentron” real estate agency Grigor Danielyan, the influence is considerable especially on renting.
“The Syrian-Armenians rent an apartment for a month with an aim to stop the rent or to prolong later. They are interested in buying apartments but are concerned about finding a job. If they buy a flat, will they find a job or not? Mainly the majority of Syrian-Armenians come to Armenia and rent flats in Small center.”- said Grigor Danielyan.
He noted that the season is active in summer, but this year there are a few apartments left for rent. The price of day-stay has increased by 20% and now costs 120 dollar in newly constructed building which is hard to find either.
