This year less Armenians are going to Turkey for vacation, especially to Antalya, than it was in previous years.
Armenians prefer to go to Georgia, to Europe, and now an interest has risen towards Middle East, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Korea, Israel and Sri Lanka.
The vice President of the Association of Travel Agencies in Armenia, Yeghishe Tanashyan, told “1in am News and analyses”.
“If in the past, people were going especially to Turkey, now is not like this, probably because of some talking about Armenia-Turkey relationships have given an impact on it. What concerns Dubai, it is as popular place for Armenians to go, as it was before”, said Tanashyan, and added that totally the amount of people going abroad for vacation had been decreased because of the financial crisis.
According to Tanashyan less people come to Armenia this year than it was last year. “A decrease has been during this year summer, and our colleagues also say it ” he added.
