ANC member, head of “Democratic Way” party Manuel Gasparyan in the interview with “First News and Analyses” referring to Levon Zurabyan – Oskanian confidential conversation, described it as a the product of the infamous and nefarious activities of the national security.
“I’m more concerned about the future of this country. National security has nothing to do, but dealing with personal problems and confidential conversations of people. If they can have nothing to do and race after street conversations, and record them, and as an addition to it to publicize them, then this is the end, I just do not find words.”
Talking about the details of the conversation, Gasparyan said. “I did not understand what was said about March 1 there, and I think it is a shame to make the tragedy a subject of speculation. In general, political events are taking place, and there is fermentation within the ANC faction. But each of us has his opinion and position.
But what does this mean? If a person expresses his or her own opinion, then the dispute must be brought to such a level that it becomes a street conversation.
Not only Nikol Pashinyan, but I have my opinion on some questions too, but that does not mean that my family issues should be brought to public.
We should ask Levon Zurabyan why he was so frank. Finally, a politician has no right to be so sincere.
I’ll give my assessment in the ANC aloud, and Zurabyan perhaps will give an explanation for his words. Let’s wait a little, and he will answer for his words and take the responsibility on them. He will explain why he has decided to open his heart.”
In the conclusion Manuel Gasparyan said that this was not politics, but a street approach.
