Georgian media, citing announcement of FM Maia Panjikidze, reports that Georgia will never accept violation of its territorial integrity.
“De-occupation of the country is the priority that will never change.
Nevertheless, dialogue is still possible. I think and I am convinced that sooner or later such a dialogue will take place. We have a precedent for such a dialogue in Geneva and by appointing a special representative for relations with Russia; we seek to open a second channel of contacts. I am sure that such dialogue is possible in certain areas which can lead us to better relations,” said Panjikidze.
Nete, military action was launched in the Georgian region of South Ossetia on August 8, 2008.
