Georgina media, citing country’s foreign ministry, reports that FM Maia Panjikidze will today meet with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in Washington.
As reported, within the visit to U.S., which will last until November 30, Panjikidze will hold a series of meetings with representatives of the U.S. State Department, as well as will give interviews to local media outlets.
“It is very important visit, as the representative of the new Georgian government for the first time will visit the main strategic partner of Georgia. In addition to the meeting with Clinton, I will hold meeting with congressmen, senators and experts working on Georgian issues,” Panjikidze told Georgian journalists in Washington.
