According to Israeli Haaretz daily, Turkey’s Deputy FM Feridun Sinirlioghlu met with the representative of Israeli Prime Minister Joseph Chekanover.
As reported, the meeting was held this week in Geneva and the main topic of the discussion was the current diplomatic crisis between the two countries and the steps to be taken to satisfy both sides.
Turkish side once again presented Israel the 3 required points for restoring the ties: apologize to the “Mavi Marmara” incident which killed nine Turkish civilians, pay compensation to the families of those killed and injured, and finally to stop the sea blockade of Gaza section.
