According to official sources, European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso will visit Yerevan on November 30. This became known to the agency from diplomatic sources in Brussels.
In Yerevan, the head of the European Commission will participate in the second Eastern Partnership Summit of the European People’s Party (EPP).
In order to participate in the summit Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili and Chairman of the EPP Wilfried Martens will also arrive in Yerevan.
The first summit of the Eastern Partnership of the European People’s Party (EPP) was held in July of this year in Batumi. Armenia was represented by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Education Edward Nalbandian and Armen Ashotyan.
