RA government’s press service told our News Agency that on November 14 Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan received the newly appointed Ambassador of Greece to Armenia Ioanis Taghis.
Welcoming the Ambassador, Sargsyan first of all congratulated Taghis for his new position and wished him success in his responsible work.
Our PM stressed that even though Armenia and Greece are friendly countries and both of them have an old history, a lot of efforts should be put in order to deepen the cooperation between the countries.
Sargsyan stressed that Armenian side would do everything possible to reach that strong ties between the countries.
Ioanis Taghis, in his turn thanked Sargsyan for a warm welcome and assured that Greece will also put many efforts to develop the relation.
As reported, during the meeting bilateral cooperation plans were discussed.
