Azerbaijani media reports that chief of the public policy department of the presidential administration of Azerbaijan, Ali Hasanov, while being in Russia, had a press conference and commented on the recently founded Union of Russian-Azerbaijani organizations in Russia.
“We have the same attitude to both new and former organizations in Russia. If someone is a citizen of Azerbaijan and is connected with its statehood, he has to work for the normal ties between Azerbaijan and the country they live. This has to serve the common interests. So that no groundless pressures were on Azerbaijan”, Hasanov said.
He noted that the leverages which may have an impact on the independent policy of the Azerbaijani state should not be served both inside and outside the country”.
