Public speaker Hranush Kharatyan, today had a press conference and talked about the upcoming presidential elections and stressed that in Armenia the ruling party always wins since the opposition doesn’t do anything.
“I should stress it seems that our current opposition is kind of disappointed and knows that it will lose and does nothing. Even our first president, Levon-Ter Petrosyan, doesn’t talk about his nomination for the elections. Our nation is confused; it doesn’t know what to have, Liberal Armenia or to follow the left. It is natural since our political world is also confused so what do we expect from our nation? ” said Kharatyan.
Artsrun Pepanyan, founder of the Political Research Foundation, expressed his thoughts and also agreed with Kharatyan saying that our opposition doesn’t even want to think.
“For me there is not any political power and opposition in Armenia. I haven’t seen it since 1995, when Vazgen Sargsyan failed, but to tell the truth I can’t say why and from that time we will have the same authorities.” Said Pepanyan.
