The RA economic activity increased by 7.6 percent in January-September of this year, compared with the same period of last year. This was reported in preliminary indicators of the National Statistical Service (NSS) on the socio-economic situation.
During the same period, the volume of industrial production increased by 11.6%, the volume of services – 11.2%, and the volume of gross agricultural production – 10.5%.
Compared to January-September period of last year, the decrease was recorded in the construction sector- 2%.
According to the NSS, the consumer price index in May compared to September of last year increased by 2.3 percent, while the average monthly nominal wages by 5.3 percent, amounting 118 225 AMD.
As for the external trade turn over, the export volumes increased by 6%, and imports by 1.2%. The balance of foreign trade is negative for 2.58 billion dollars.
