The Canadian company produces biochips based on the developed system carried out by Armenian scientists. These biochips have medical importance, allowing to identify diagnosis of malignant cells, as well as to detect counterfeit drugs.
This was reported by the Director of the Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics Arsen Hakhumyan, stating that they are currently engaged in the development of sensitive sensors, which help to distinguish between real fake medicines without damaging the studied material.
“These technologies are quite new. We have no technology, we develop electrodynamic systems, and the preparation is done in Canada. Very interesting and very promising results have been obtained in the present study we have,” said Hakhumyan, noting that they did not sell the idea, but implement a joint program.
“We have our strengths – mind, and they have their strong side – technology and manufacturing capabilities.” concluded the director.
