Today, on October 18, took place the 21th meeting of the Economic Cooperation of the Armenian-American Working Group.
The American delegation was led by Secretary Assistant of the U.S. Deputy Eric Rubin and Coordinator of U.S. government assistance programs Daniel Rosenblum, and the head of the Armenian delegation was the Minister of Finance Vache Gabrielyan. The meeting was attended by representatives of the various departments of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Office of the Trade and the International Development Agency.
American and Armenian delegations agreed to cooperate on a number of initiatives that can provide new impetus to bilateral trade and investment between the two countries. This year, the focus was on promoting a more favorable business environment and several ways were segregated, such as tax and customs policy of fair and equal competition, respect for intellectual property rights. In addition, the governments of Armenia and the United States signed a memorandum on cooperation in the energy sector.
Recall that the working group of the Armenian-American Economic Cooperation, whose first meeting was held in 2000, is a platform for the two countries to discuss issues such as trade and investment, deepening of the RA financial and market reforms, etc.
