Artsakh politician, former NKR deputy FM Masis Mayilyan thinks that it is impossible to reach positive effect through negotiations in OSCE Minsk Group. This was said by Masis Mayilyan in the interview with “First Armenian News and Analysis” answering the question about the results that are expected from French government’s announcement on their readiness to support the resolution of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“It was said many times that the approaches of OSCE Minsk Group contradict the interests of Armenian party and disturb the peace in the region. The recent case between Baku and Budapest proved one more time that Azerbaijani corruptive policy is a serious threat for the security of Armenia and Artsakh.”
To the question what conditions Armenian party may put forward in present situation, Masis Mayilyan answered that Armenia must stop participating in Minsk Group’s negotiation process. “For restarting the negotiations Armenian party is lawful to demand secure conditions from the USA, France, and Russia. Such a condition may be consensus recognition of Nagorno Karabakh Republic.”- he said.
