Analyst Musa Mikaelyan shared his opinion on the pressure made by the RA president against Kocharyan.
Armenia is intensively trying to open the coil of appropriation of public funds by the Ministry of Health and Urban Ministry, which is accompanied by rather rigid definitions of Tigran Sargsyan. There is even an impression that the Prime Minister has just begun his revenge against “Prosperous Armenia”. But it is clear that, without the consent of Serzh Sargsyan, Tigran Sargsyan would not have taken such intensity and such a lexicon.
During 5 years Urban Ministry and Ministry of Health have been the PAP’s quota, and if such abuses are taking place in the ministries for many years, it would be strange if all the ministers would not be interrogated. Abuses of such a scale cannot take place without the awareness of the Minister.
The author raise a question, “what would the police do towards Harutyun Kushkyan and Vardan Vardanyan, who were the Ministers of Health and Urban Development?” It was noted that these people were not accidental faces in the PAP and were representatives of the so-called circle of the Kocharyan. In fact, Serzh Sargsyan wants to hit Robert Kocharyan also in this direction.
Unlike Oskanian case, which was more of a political blow against Kocharyan, in this case the blow or shock potentially includes the elements of the business, apparently because both Kushkyan, and Vardanyan are very active in the business.
In fact, apart from the political hit, President Serzh Sargsian seems to prepare business hit for Robert Kocharyan. This may perhaps indicate that the President has no intention to expand political blow for a very long period. Therefore, not to weaken the wave of the pressure against Kocharyan it is drawn to a new direction, which could become a potential target of two former ministers of health and urban sector.
