RA Minister of Urban Development, member of Rule of Law Party Samvel Tadevosyan arrived in Shirak region with a working visit. The latter met the regional leaders to discuss the controversial issues of housing present in the Shirak region.
Prior to the start of the Rural Housing, RA Ministry of Urban Development studies the present state of regions and housing and urban problems. The community leaders have expressed their dissatisfaction, saying that the existing documentary data of the Ministry of Urban Development do not reflect the true picture of the actual number of homeless people, as the actual number is greater. The mayors, who were present at the meeting, complained that every time the Ministry delays town-planning with variety of reasons.
One of the governors, who did not want his name to be published, in an interview with “1in.am News and Analyses” said. “You should not do such things, it is enough, the villagers demand houses from us, and if we also try to demand something from the appropriate organs we will be discharged.”
