The press service of Yerevan State Medical University has spread an announcement that reforms are going in the university in educational, clinic, financial spheres. According to the state income agency, the Medical University is one of the main taxpayers of the country, and is the first among the universities.
As a result of systematic work done by the YSMU administration, the educational year 2012-2013 will begin with a surprise for the employees. Since September 1st their salaries will be considerably raised. Besides they will get 50% bonus payment.
It is important to note that the rise in salaries won’t affect the tuition fees of students. The tuition fee of RA citizens will not change. Some increase will occur in foreign students’ tuition fees; this refers only to those who have entered the university this year.
