Georgian media reports that President Mikheil Saakashvili, during the meeting of presenting candidate from National Movement for majoritarian MPs of Samtredia, said that parliamentary elections of 2012 will be crucial for Georgia.
“This is a crucial election for Georgia. This is a referendum on what we have achieved over the past eight years. It’s not my fate that is at stake, but the fate of the whole Georgia, our children and our youth,” Saakashvili said.
The source reports that President urged people to wonder about whether Georgia has become better as 8 years have passed and stressed that if people think it has changed for better , they should not go back, should do not return the mummified figures but to direct only towards progressive development.
