In today’s meeting with journalists the deputy minister of Finance of RA Vardan Aramyan appreciated the 7.7% estimate of economic activity fixed from January till July, especially the growth in industry and agriculture. According to him there is a qualitative change between crisis and today’s growth; as the industry in not only concentrated on mining, its 8.1% is manufacturing industry, alcohol industry, food industry and so on. According to the deputy minister, the agro sphere has high increase of 8%, out of which 6% is from fruit-vegetable cultivation.
Whether there is diversification or not, Aramyan answered, that the 14% decrease of 2008 was connected to the construction sphere, but now the construction amounts have decreased and instead the industry and agriculture prevail.
According to Aramyan, we have quite “decent” inflation, the primary question for common citizen is unemployment, but the later is increasing even in European countries. The level of poverty changed from 23% of 2008 to 27% of 2012.
“It is normal, that people complain, they complain all around the world. After a boom, recession or low rates of grow affects people. But there is increase of incomes in economy; the estimates are the proof of it.” – mentioned V. Aramyan.
