Azerbaijani State Customs Committee (SCC) said that in January-July 2012 about 33.145 million tons of cargo was transported in Azerbaijan, which is 5.75 percent less than it was according year 2011.
The source informs that exports of goods during the same period amounted to 17.636 million tons, imports – 5.296 million tons, including 175,970 tons exported by sea, 1.66 million tons exported by rail, 339,520 tons – by road, 108,970 tons – air, 15.349 million – stationary, 1,860 tons – self-propelled vehicles.
Around 10.212 million tons of cargo was transported by transit through the territory of Azerbaijan in January-July 2012, which is 11 percent more, compared to January-July 2011.
