Mayor Taron Margaryan got acquainted with the work of new highway construction between Ulnets – Rubinyants streets, as well as intersection reconstruction works of Halabyan-Abelyan streets.
Information and Public Relations Department of Yerevan municipality informed “1in.am News and Analyses” that the construction of road and junction will ease the traffic on David Anhaght, P. Sevak Rubinyants, Rubinyants and Ulnets streets.
Builders reported to the Mayor that the work is progressing pursuant to the schedule, according to which 50% of the total construction work has already been done. They also showed to Taron Margaryan what activities were going on along the road at that moment.
Talking with reporters Mayor Taron Margaryan said that an integral part of the capital program for traffic regulation, building of new bypass roads, crossroads and pedestrian crossings will significantly improve the traffic situation.
Taron Margaryan also added that in the road projects of this year a new approach was provided for the construction of communication systems, according to which infrastructures are mainly carried out by underground, deployed in marginal areas of the roads.
Summing up the results of the tour, Mayor Taron Margaryan was generally satisfied with the current work.
