According to the data provided by the consular services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nagorno-Karabakh, on August 21,2012 it had 10 thousand 667 foreign visitors. 723 thousand people visited the country in July 3, 2012; 2 thousand 165 people in July 2, 2011; from August 1 to 21- 3 thousand 124 people, and in August 2012 – 2 thousand. 870 people.
Year by year the flow of tourists from all the continents to Artsakh-Karabakh grows, in spite of the obstacles created by the Azerbaijani authorities. It is not a coincidence that the region is more and more often included in ratings of the world’s most attractive tourist sites.
Here foreigners are attracted by the ancient historical monuments, gorgeous nature, ecologically healthy environment, as well as friendly and hospitable attitude of people.
