Deputy director of Special Investigation Service can be appointed by a person who has held the post of the leader of chief group during the last 4 years or has the experience of investigator or prosecutor during the last 8 years.
In answer to the inquiry of “Pastinfo” agency’s correspondent, it was said from the SIS of RA that the mentioned points are fixed in the law “About the special investigatory service of RA”.
In the meantime, it was said that in the 2nd article of this law, SIS deputy director is appointed by SIS director.
We remind that the SIS deputy director Marsel Matevosyan died from a sudden death and his post is vacant.
