The representative of Adjara Tourism Department in Armenia, Gagik Mkrtchyan told “1in am News and Analyses” that the number of clients in agencies, which organize a tour from Armenia to Georgia, have been decreased, because people, nowadays, prefer going there either by their own cars or by trains.
He added that even though the sea resorts of Georgia have become more attractive, less people are going there now, comparing with the previous years. He explained that the reason might be in the prices, since the costs have increased.
According to the calculations made by Gagik Mkrtchyan an Armenian family, which consists of about 4 persons during their stay in Georgia spends at least 1000 $.
We should add that till today about 31.000 Armenian tourists have visited Adjara by train.
