On June 21, Ambassador Tigran Balayan, the head of the RA representation in the EU, presented his credentials to the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. During the ceremony, Ambassador Balayan highly appreciated the role of the European Union and thanked Ursula von der Leyen for her efforts to deepen RA-EU relations further, develop partnerships, and strengthen Armenia’s resilience.
Ambassador Balayan conveyed the message of the RA Prime Minister to the President of the European Commission. The chairman of the commission, von der Leyen, in his turn, thanked for the kind words and conveyed his greetings to RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, assuring him that he will continue to pursue the implementation of the agreements reached as a result of the Armenia-US-EU trilateral high-level meeting held on April 5.
