“The construction of the new airport in Telavi will start this year,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili announced.
“There was an airport in Telavi, and we want to organize and build a new, modern infrastructure – the new Telavi airport.
We will start designing and building in the same year. We want the airport to receive the first passenger in May-June 2024,” said Irakli Gharibashvili. He said the project cost will be about 25-30 million GEL.
