Turkey has completed the transfer of an additional military contingent to Kosovo, where skirmishes involving ethnic Serbs took place. The decision to deploy special forces was made in response to a request from the NATO Allied Forces Command (headquarters: Naples).
The Turkish ambassador to Pristina, Sabri Tunc Angili, met the soldiers at the airport of the capital of Kosovo. After that, the Turkish military went to the deployment area, the “Sultan Murat” barracks in the north of Kosovo.
