The President of the Republic, Vahagn Khachaturyan, sent a congratulatory message to the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, on the national holiday, the Day of Restoration of State Independence.
President Khachaturyan’s address states explicitly:
“105 years ago, the people of Georgia decided to create an independent state, and today, they continue their true path to build a democratic and prosperous country.
Armenia attaches great importance to warm neighborly relations with Georgia, which are based on mutual trust and respect and close cultural and historical ties between the two peoples.
The high-level political dialogue and regular contacts give exceptional dynamics to expanding and further deepening the existing cooperation.
I am sure that with mutual efforts, we will contribute to the consistent strengthening and development of the relations between our countries.”
