The bilateral meeting of Foreign Ministers of Russia and Azerbaijan, Sergey Lavrov and Jeihun Bayramov, has started in Moscow. At the meeting, Lavrov touched on the issue of the “North-South” corridor, mutual economic investments, trade and other issues. Lavrov said that the meeting of this format was planned for last year, but due to circumstances, it did not take place.
Lavrov also noted that in the second half of the day, a tripartite meeting with the participation of Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan is planned.
In his turn, Bayramov thanked Lavrov and noted that the scheduled meeting last year did not take place because of them (Lavrov and Bayramov). Bayramov also noted that positive dynamics are observed in the Armenian-Azerbaijani peace negotiations.
