A representative of Syrian-Armenian business community Hovhannes Khetimyan, is going to start a business in Armenia. This was reported to the correspondent of “Pastinfo” agency by the executive director of Republican Union of employees of Armenia Vahan Simonyan.
According to his words, though there are no threats for Hovhannes Khetimyan’s business abroad and though the businessman lives in Syria, his business is in Qatar and the preliminary observations are positive for him and he thinks that there can be expansive possibilities for keeping his «Al Scwaid auto spare parts» company in Armenia.
“The Syrian-Armenian enterpriser now tries to get acquainted with the legal field of business in Armenia, the bank system, the situation of professionals in job market, the mechanisms controlling the job and economic relations and with some other questions, which have essential role in starting a business in Armenia.” – The businessman told to the correspondent of “Pastinfo” News agency.
“It is supposed that the political situation in Syria will become a stimulus for the Syrian businessmen of Armenian nationality to have their businesses in Armenia. That’s why the experts of Republican Union of employees of Armenia are going to give free of charge advice services to the Syrian-Armenians who are need it. During the meeting we described the general traits of Armenian legal and tax system mentioning that the development of small and medium business in Armenia are the most importnant directions of economy.
