Armenia unilaterally eliminates the visa regime with the EU and Switzerland and the EU member states’ residents can visit Armenia without visa for 90 days every year. The act is in force from January 10. The same refers to Switzerland which is not in the EU but is in the Schengen zone.
Thus Armenia becomes the 4th country after Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova to unilaterally eliminate visa regime for the Europeans. Armenia itself has a bilateral visa regime elimination with more than 20 countries including Georgia, Russia and most part of the post-Soviet countries.
Currently the visa facilitation process between Armenia and the EU member states is in process.
