The head of the RA CEC Tigran Mukuchyan said that as of January 8 only one local organization has applied to the Armenian Central Election Committee (CEC) for the execution of a monitoring mission.
According to him, the same international organizations that monitored the parliamentary elections last year will observe the presidential elections on February 18.
He noted that the observation mission of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights will soon arrive in Yerevan, observers from the European Parliament, and the CIS countries are also expected.
