PAP member, former MP Vardan Bostanjyan considers that interesting competitors for Serzh Sargsyan will be Paruyr Hayrikyan, Hrant Bagratyan and Raffi Hovhannissian. However, Bostanjyan doesn’t consider them as winning candidates.
“I think that the amount of votes of the incumbent president will be more, considering the fact that the competitors do not have big chances,” says Vardan Bostanjyan.
According to him Sargsyan is going to win the elections by one round. These elections will differ from the previous ones, with the actuality of ‘depreciation of the bribe. ’
To the question whether the absence of general power made the non-famous people to nominate their candidacy, Bostnjyan responded “Those people were in search of adventures, which was conditioned only with their small benefits. And I don’t think that the participation or non-participation of powerful people has anything to do with it”.
