Ukraine’s Ambassador to Armenia Ivan Kukhta told Armenian media that Ukraine will actively support all efforts of the OSCE Minsk Group on the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Ukrainian diplomat recalled that Ireland transferred to Ukraine chairmanship of the OSCE during December 6-7 meetings of the OSCE Foreign Ministers in Dublin.
Ukraine also plans to initiate a new dialogue within the OSCE on new basis of future regime of controls on conventional armed forces in Europe, which must take into account the security interests of all member states.
Ambassador noted that his country will also focus on protection of fundamental human rights and liberties in the OSCE area.
According to Kukhta, OSCE chairperson-in-office plans to visit the South Caucasus and added that the visit will take place in the first quarter or beginning of the second quarter of 2013.
