Official sources inform that a regular board meeting of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) was held in Baku on Thursday.
Deputy Chairman, Executive Secretary of the NAP Ali Ahmadov noted the great successes achieved by Azerbaijan in 2012 under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev.
According to the information, the NAP has held a number of important events, including the seventh General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) in Baku which is regarded as an indicator of the NAP’s international prestige. It was highlighted that such a high level of trust is the result of the NAP’s fproductive activity as a member of the organization’s standing committee.
During the meeting there was an exchange of views on the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev, which was approved by the conference. This was followed by discussion of current issues and the hearing of suggestions and recommendations.
