Armenia’s three presidents should have reached a new category of wisdom, which would enable them to open new possibilities for the new generation, and all three of them this time should not nominate their candidacy, said today during a meeting with journalists the “Heritage” party former MP Larisa Alaverdyan.
“Raffi Hovannisian and politicians like him, despite all their shortcomings that have remained out of oligarchic situation, might have been alternative candidates, and we would not have chosen the lesser evil,” said Larisa Alaverdyan.
The RA former human rights ombudsman said that in 2013 there will be “the last non-elections.”
“We have never appeared to have elections, because all the election results are predetermined,” said Larisa Alaverdyan, who believes that the third president could make drastic changes by showing that he will give space to the new forces.
Referring to the decision of Levon Ter-Petrosian, Larisa Alaverdyan said that the decision is due to the fact that he is a very skilled politician and realized that he will not be able to collect the required number of votes in the elections.
