According to NA former deputy, PAP member Vardan Bostanjyan, PAP leader Tsarukyan’s decision, regarding the presidential elections, is not a display of boycotting the presidential elections scheduled for February.
To the question why PAP will not support ANC candidate, and what should be the ANC’s decision in this case, V. Bostanjyan answered. “I do not want to allow myself to speak about it. But it is clear that the attitude of the parties in this case may be important in future developments. If PAP announces that it is not to going to nominate a candidate and support anyone, the position of the other political forces cannot cause a change in the behavior of the overall process.”
V. Bostanjyan does not exclude the possibility that the PAP members may leave the party.
