As the First Armenian News and Analyses state Gagik Tsarukyan met Serzh Sargsyan and reassured the fact that he is not going to put his candidacy but in order to save his honor he cannot support Sargsyan in the upcoming presidential elections. Tsarukyan also added that he will be leaving politics.
As was previously discussed within the Pap after meeting Sargsyan, Tsarukyan told his colleagues that he might put his candidacy and in case he does not do so, he will latently hamper Sargsyan’s activities. Recently it became clear that Tsarukyan asked for another meeting with Sargsyan to blur off such talks.
According to the First Armenian News and Analyses information, Tsarukyan asked Sargsyan what their political party destiny would be after the elections and whether a further coalition possibility could be excluded. Tsarukyan also promised Sargsyan to help with his leverages.
Sargsyan told Tsarukyan that some members of his party have past beyond the border of negotiating and have left no way to get back and that everything will be clear after the elections.
From this point of view the PAP is under the microscope as its actions will determine its future.
